Civil CAD Technician

Our client is a large award-winning engineering consultancy with over 60 years' experience of delivering complex projects across the full project cycle from conception to construction. They are client focused and employee obsessed with organic, internal growth usually being their business strategy.

Due to several retirements and promotions, they are looking to add a Civil Technician to their established design office.

Based in Motherwell, you will work on a wide range of projects across various sectors that include industrial, manufacturing and energy, transport, infrastructure and utilities, public sector and nuclear.

Within this role you will be responsible for the following

• Producing detailed civil engineering drawings
• Ensuring quality of delivery when producing CAD drawings to internal and/or client standards
• Providing junior members of the CAD team with technical mentoring and support
• Checking own work for accuracy and quality assurance in accordance with company QA procedures

YOUR PROFILE

• HNC in Civil Engineering
• Proficient with AutoCAD 2D and 3D software
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
• CAD experience within a similar role
