Associate Director (Structures)

Specialising in High-end structural engineering, our client based in Glasgow is looking to appoint an Associate Director.

You will lead a team of 8 engineers on a wide range of projects for clients such as Ogilvie, Westpoint Homes, David Lloyd, Virgin Leisure, Wetherspoons, MOD and several local councils and government contracts. with

Ideally, you will be an SER certified Structural Engineer with a passion for running multiple projects, attracting new clients, and maintaining existing relationships that are in place.

The consultancy has a history of organic, internal growth and rarely hire outside of the business at this level so, this is an opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to take the next positive step within their career and progress quickly towards director level.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR (STRUCTURES) RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage projects to ensure suitable resourcing is in place
• Ensure that projects are delivered to the highest possible standard, on time and profitable
• Develop and mentor junior engineers and technicians
• Prepare and direct designs/ specifications
• Conduct client meetings
• Represent the company at networking events, establishing new business

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR PROFILE

• Chartered (or close to Chartered) with a relevant institution, IStructE
• SER Certification
• 5+ Years experience
• Comfortable leading projects
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Proven track record of delivering profitable consultancy work

ON OFFER

• £60,000 - £65,000 Per annum
