Your new company
You will be joining a leading civil engineering and building company based in the East Midlands working on a major water infrastructure framework in England. This company has an excellent reputation for investing in their people and delivering high quality construction projects across the UK and Ireland. In this project you will be working on a new wastewater pumping station, pipelines as well as upgrades to wastewater treatment works.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to, effectively influencing the progress on sites and ensuring programme deadlines are met, working closely with all other team members to ensure that the Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety aspects of the work are adhered to during your project phase on site, ensuring that setting out is accurate and maintaining the Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be deadline-driven individual with excellent communications and good general commercial awareness. You will hold a degree in Civil Engineering (or other industry related qualification) with ideally 5+ years relevant on the ground experience. Experience within the water or utilities sector is essential. In addition, you will also have sound numeracy and IT skills (including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel) and a full driving licence.
