Your new company:
As the leading agency supplier to the HM Prison Service for the provision of maintenance trades & support operatives, Hays is seeking to recruit a Contractor Escort to Escort Building Contractors around HMP Littlehey.

Your new role:
As part of the security team you will be responsible for assisting in the safety and security of the establishment where your duties will include escorting building contractors. You will ensure the safety and security of the within a Prison establishment, while persons from outside of NOMS are on site. You will also ensure that no unauthorised persons or items enter the establishment.

Duties:
Escorting contractors & vehicles
Radio handling
Contractor Tool checks
Searching Buildings (work areas only)
Radio operation

What you'll need to succeed
No formal qualifications or previous experience is required for this role.
The nature of the Contractor Escort role requires candidates to be security conscious and able to challenge potential compromises and risks, you will also need to be reliable and consistent, level headed and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Successful applicants will have a background in customer services or security, and will be assessed based on the following competencies: Acting with integrity, respecting others, Building relationships and team working, communicating effectively, developing self and others.
