Structural Engineer

This is a structural engineering position with a difference offering enormous potential. Our client is a structural engineering practice delivering projects using a level of automation previously unseen in their sector. Their business model, which could be viewed as disruptive by its competitors, has grown exponentially in recent years. Your Role: Their workload is focused on residential projects, which are ideally suited to high levels of automation. They are the preferred consultant for a trailblazing architectural technology platform that has transformed the market.  Your role will be to design and manage projects throughout the London region, and to play an active role as they adopt new technologies and refine delivery methods. You will work closely with the managing director, structural engineers, and CAD technicians. Their will be regular contact with clients and occasional site visits. Projects will typically be designed using reinforced concrete, masonry and steel.    

About You: A degree qualified or chartered structural engineer with at least two years building structures design experience with exposure to most of the commonly used structural materials. An interest in digital technology is advantageous, you should be well versed in using industry standard design software. The practice currently licences Grasshopper, Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, REVIT and IDEA  SatiCa. If you are working towards chartership, training and mentorship is provided to achieve MIStructE or ICE membership.
