Your new company

Apex Circuit Design Ltd is an award-winning motorsport engineering consultancy responsible for the design and delivery of the world’s best racetracks including Formula 1 and MotoGP, test and training facilities, destination and temporary motorsport events. 

Your new role

Your new role will see you work on the 2D, and 3D design of new racetrack facilities around the globe.  You will also be expected to attend Client meetings, assist in the writing of design reports, presentations and attend site visits where required.

What you'll need to succeed

A min 2:1 degree in Civil Engineering (although a degree in automotive and mechanical engineering would be considered).

The ideal candidate should have an interest in motorsport, a willingness to learn about the industry, a creative mindset and a keen eye for detail.  

Willingness to travel overseas occasionally for short periods as projects required.  

Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D or AutoCAD is preferred (but not essential)

A basic knowledge of Matlab is preferred (but not essential)

Flexible working environment – Up to 2 days remote working from home per week

ARDS license – One day driving tuition to provide the basic skills required to drive on tracks. This will allow you to partake in periodic track days in the Apex track car at UK circuits to help get a feel for vehicle dynamics as well as have fun!

Hands on training from your line manager and colleagues will allow you to pick up new skills and build a good level of responsibility early in your career.
