We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager - Civil Engineering to have responsibility for Coastal and Highways asset management.

You will have responsibility for the management, improvement and development of the city’s coastal and highway assets. Highlights of the role will be the delivery of the £14m Brighton Marina to River Adur coast protection scheme, and the improvement of our historic seafront arches.

In addition to the opportunity of managing the structures you will have both Project Management experience and scheme delivery experience using NEC Contract Management.

 

About the role

To have responsibility for the management and ongoing improvement of our structures, both coastal and highway. Secure funding and the delivery of schemes to renew the historic assets of the city of Brighton and Hove. The role will require the management and delivery of a program of coastal and highway structure projects and ensure these projects delivery is to time, cost and meet our high-quality targets.

You will be based in our modern, open plan offices in Hove Town Hall and benefit from flexible working, including homeworking. This role is part of a newly expanded team that will respond flexibly and efficiently to the growing development demands of the city.
