Job Details

Our client is a leader in civil and environmental engineering with projects throughout the United Kingdom and internationally. Their London based civil engineering team designs and manages many of their larger civil engineering infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity for an intermediate level engineer with design and some project delivery expertise to take on more management responsibility. Their clients are major developers of commercial, ports & harbours, airports, urban regeneration, residential and industrial schemes.

You will report to the civil engineering associate in a role that spans front-end design and project delivery. The position will enable you to take on more management responsibility and to hone your existing engineering skills. Technical support and guidance will be on hand to assist at scheme and design stages and to bolster in weaker areas. If you are not already chartered the company runs an approved ICE training scheme, there is also a well organised programme of CPD activities. You will work closely with clients and will be responsible for delivering your own work packages of roads, drainage and flood alleviation schemes.

Experience Required: highways or drainage design experience, a 2:1 or higher in civil engineering and knowledge of AutoCAD, PDS  or Civils 3D or similar software.  Good communication and organisational skills are essential. This is one of the UK’s more successful independently owned consulting practices.  They are also a highly regarded employer that invests in staff development and encourages career progression.

The successful candidates will join a team that has won significant new commissions, it is steadily expanding and prospects for advancement are excellent.
