Senior Structural Engineer

Are you a seasoned Senior Structural Engineer who has grown tired of designing residential and commercial structures?

My client is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to work on a significant defence project for a multinational engineering firm in their growing central Glasgow office, which is close to key transportation links.

Even though the post is geared towards structural engineers based in Glasgow/Central Belt, it offers an agile working strategy that will be adjusted to the individual's demands and timetables meaning that 100% of the job can be done from the comfort of home.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully completing design projects in the UK in a variety of sectors, including defence, education, commercial, and residential.

The office provides multidisciplinary design and engineering services on local, national, and worldwide projects, and has played a key role in some of the world's most complex and difficult engineering projects, which regularly surpass £150 million.

With ongoing support, mentoring, and industry-leading training, there is a clear career path to Associate and Director level and beyond.

SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER PROFILE

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Chartered or near chartered level
• Proven track record in engineering design delivery
• Sound commercial understanding of consultancy business
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Security clearance is required (this can be arranged by the business)

ON OFFER

• £45,000 - £50,000
• Option to work 100% from home
• 25 days annual holiday excluding bank holidays
• 10% Matched Pension
