Associate Structural Engineer

Working on the most important and challenging structural projects for a market leading consultancy is something that all Structural Engineers want to be involved in, right?

This role offers exactly that, as an Associate Structural Engineer you will work on a wide range of projects throughout the UK and internationally for one of the worlds most recognised and respected engineering consultancies.

Typical engineering projects include a mixture of education, commercial, airports, energy, defence as well as residential sectors.

This senior role is suited to candidates with an established experience who wish to lead a design team and progress to director level, quickly.

The role demands that you will be comfortable running a design team and working collaboratively with internal and external clients, decision makers and industry stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects that frequently exceed that value of £200M.

Responsibilities

• Leading and carrying out design work in all materials
• Project management, ensuring suitable resources are in place for projects
• Contributing to company development
• Review calculations, drawings, specifications, and act as SER certifier on projects

Requirements

• A degree in Civil/Structural engineering or equivalent
• A chartered Engineer
• A technically excellent engineer with established skills and delivery capability
• Ability to lead from the front and be able to work with and mobilise a wide range of personalities
• Eligible for SER registration
