Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer

Your new company

A great family run business working on a variety of projects including, commercial office space, hotels, data centres, leisure centres and the aerospace industry. You will be working alongside a team of Building Services Engineers and Architects. With a range of large projects secured for the short term they offer plenty of work at a growing company. The office is located just a stone's throw away from the tram stop, local shops and leisure centre so there is plenty for you to do on your lunch break.


Your new role

You will be working in a modern office among a friendly team of engineers. Your primary focus will be helping on a multi-year sustainability project for a major retail premises as well as other projects where you will be expected to deliver the projects on time keeping the team motivated as the projects develop. You can expect to see projects through to completion and will report on the progress to more senior members of the team. With time you will take on more responsibility and experience with opportunities to progress in the future.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent such as Building Services with post graduate experience working as a graduate or junior mechanical design engineer. You will be able to work autonomously and have a good technical knowledge of Mechanical design. You will be helping more senior members of the team working on large multi-year projects. If you are a team player that is ambitious and driven to progress your career, this is the job for you!
