Senior EHS Consultant role


Your new company
A leading Health and Safety Consultancy has an opportunity for a Health and Safety Consultant to join their service delivery team within a leading UK professional services company. The Consultant would provide Health and Safety support to the inhouse Health and Safety team in a number of key areas as well as managing health and safety projects and initiatives to support the continued growth of the organisation's employee base and expansion of their property portfolio.

Your new role
The role is structured to meet the dynamic and changing needs of the business; however, it is likely to encompass the following responsibilities and projects:
▪ Supporting the UKI Risk Management team in the ongoing management and development of the organisational risk management system
▪ Developing and maintaining new site mobilisation processes and procedures.
▪ Reviewing RAMS for permit requests on a variety of maintenance and small build projects across the portfolio. ▪ Supporting the management of COVID-19 related risk and office re-occupation plans.
▪ Reviewing site and activity specific Covid-19 Risk assessments
▪ Conducting site surveys and completing a suite of statutory and mandatory assessments including, annual generic risk assessments for offices, Fire Safety risk assessments and initial safety and security assessments for new building leases and acquisitions.
▪ Distribution, monitoring and reviewing corrective actions assigned to sites following inspection visits.
▪ Completing and reviewing event risk assessments for internal and external events ▪ Reviewing, updating, and re-designing safety management policies and procedures
▪ Providing advice to refurbishment project teams on compliance with CDM and also general health, safety, welfare and fire considerations.
▪ Responding to general requests for advice on health and safety within the business.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role, a relevant health and safety qualification such as a NEBOSH certificate or a membership of IOSH, and valid UK Driving License.
