Commercial Manager

Your new company
You will be joining a leading Tier 1 contractor based in the East Midlands working on capital works for the successful delivery of a £1.4billion programme for a major water framework. This company has a strong pipeline of work across multiple sectors and is working in partnership with multiple other Tier 1 contractors during the latest Asset Management Period 7. This contractor combines innovation and cooperation to continue their on-going successes and successfully deliver projects without compromising on quality. With this company, you will be managing and controlling all of the projects' commercial activities for a major framework.

Your new role
You will be responsible for, but not limited to, managing CVRs and completing monthly reviews of contract results, reviewing commercial plans to deliver maximum margin, ensuring all valuations are submitted on time, managing mediation/adjudication claims, providing contractual advice during tendering processes as well as maximising monthly valuations.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience in commercial management delivering multi-million-pound programmes per annum. You will also be proficient managing NEC3, ECC and PSC forms of contracts with clients and supply chains and be able to manage a busy workload and meet project deadlines. Finally, you will be a motivational leader with excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
