Project Engineer (Structures) - Cambridge (Hybrid working)

If so, then we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join an independent, award winning, leading consultancy as a Senior Project Engineer within the structures team at their vibrant office in Cambridge on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will assist in delivering structural projects from local housing and community spaces to education buildings, healthcare and large residential and commercial buildings and will be required to take the lead on suitable projects attending client meetings and producing relevant reports and concepts for the development of the project.

Location: This office is in an excellent location as it's only a ten-minute walk from both Cambridge train station & the historical city centre.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil or Structural engineering,
• A Chartered engineer,
• A minimum of 4 years' post graduate experience,
• The ability to work with a variety of materials such as timber, concrete, steel & masonry,
• Significant experience in a design office working on building structures,
• Proficient with design software and willingness to learn to use new ones if needed (Robot, Tekla structures mostly used),
• Experience on various methods of construction and with a variety of materials is ideal,
• Excellent interpersonal skills
