Contracts Manager

Your new company
You will be joining a leading Civil Engineering Principal Contractor and Sub-Contractor based in the East Midlands working on multiple highways frameworks across the Midlands. This multi-accredited company delivers a range of simple and complex construction schemes (£2million+) across the country and boasts an impressive clientele of world-leading Tier 1 contractors they occasionally work alongside. With this company you will be working on exciting multi-million-pound highways projects across the East and West Midlands.

Your new role
You will be reporting to senior management and be responsible for, but not limited to, planning detailed projects to ensure they are delivered without delay, procuring and reconciling materials, chairing and attending internal and external meetings, reviewing CVRs monthly, producing and analysing progress reports, delivering pre-start meetings to the site team as well as maintaining and managing construction sites and sub-contractors.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience of managing projects within a civils/highways environment and have sound knowledge of CDM regulations and contract conditions. You will also have good working knowledge of cost control, risk management and design management. In addition, you will hold a CSCS card, SMSTS and be educated to HNC/HND/degree-level (or experience equivalent). Finally, you will have excellent people management and interpersonal skills.
