Civil Engineer

Conrad Consulting are pleased to be working with an established structural engineering consultancy based in the heart of Bristol. They work on a range of exciting economical projects including, airports, new homes, educational buildings, historical buildings and more.

This position is ideal for an ambitious Civil Engineer looking to take that next step on their career path.

It is essential for this role that you can work competently without supervision. Leading and delivering your own projects is a must.

My client is looking for someone who can work mostly remotely, coming into the office one day a week or even once every two weeks.

You will be required to;

• Produce detailed drainage designs ensuring it fits within the design brief, budget and without compromising design.
• Ensure your technical knowledge is upto date
• Project manage and trouble shoot any issues
• Take the technical lead.
• liaise with team members accordingly
• Assist the CEO and management team with work load

Requirements:

• A degree in civil or structural engineering,
• Up to date knowledge of current UK Codes of Practice, Design Standards, Building Regulations, and Health and Safety,
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civils 3d or equivalent would be ideal,
• Proficiency in MicroDrainage or equivalent would be ideal,
• Confident with a client facing
