Senior Chartered Structural engineer

My Client is looking for an ambitious experienced Charted Engineer who will help to progress their company into further success. They are involved with a range of projects such as residential, Schools, leisure facilities, hospitals, historic buildings and more.

Responsibilities -

• Preparing quotations for clients, design calculations, drawings, and specifications and checking the work of colleagues.
• Undertaking survey inspections and preparing reports.
• Assisting with continual developments of the Company's technical standards.
• Collaboration and liaison with clients, architects, designers and building contractors on construction projects, including representing the Company at meetings.
• • A knowledge of steel, concrete, timber and load bearing masonry structures
  • The ability to design to British Standards or Eurocodes.
  • Experience with computer software is essential, including Fastrak portal, TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS.

Requirements -

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Must be Chartered Engineer, Member of IStructE or ICE
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
