Lead Civil 3D Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Civil 3D Designer to join one of the world's most prestigious and major names in multi-disciplinary engineering services.

The Infrastructure Division in their Epsom office cover all aspects of multidisciplinary design and management from inception to detailed scheme design and delivery support and the Lead Civil 3D Designer will support their increasing workload.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up teams and structures to generate and deliver models and drawings to established standards on a range of projects from nationally significant to smaller scale schemes. Excellent communication skills will be required to liaise with other disciplines, modellers, engineers and clients to ensure that designs are delivered right first time. Experience with setting up and operating Projectwise or BIM360 and an understanding of their various functions and how to get the best out of them is required with a willingness to provide support and guidance to junior BIM staff.

Requirements:

• Fully competent in AutoCAD & Civils 3D.
• Experience implementing and administrating common data environments such as ProjectWise / BIM360.
• Detailed Knowledge of External Works, Utilities & Highways modelling.
• Leading Teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to adopt new technology / techniques.
• Knowledge of BIM.
