An exciting opportunity for an Applications Developer to assist in delivering this organisations mission.

Your new company
With the main offices being based in Reading, Coventry and Bournemouth, this organisation has a nationwide presence, and an incredible reputation to go along with it; being renowned for its commitment, ambition, and ethics. They are now searching for an Application Developer to assist in bringing their large-scale, persistent vision to life.

Your new role
As their new Applications Developer, you will be central in the delivery of the organisation's digital strategy and business improvements. You will recommend and build business solutions to meet the organisations requirements, participating in workshops and investigating stakeholder requirements to do so. As a developer, you will also provide the technical visualisation of proposed solutions, transforming business requirements into technical requirements. This will involve writing testable and efficient code, performing unit testing, and ensuring reliability, efficiency, and usability. Throughout this process, you will work as part of a project team accountable for the success of the project.

What you'll need to succeed
From a skills perspective, having experience using SQL Server is imperative. Additionally, knowledge of PRINCE2 project management, PMI, and ITIL principles is ideal to succeed in this role. Also, while not an essential requirement, experience of working with ActiveH Housing Management System will support you in your role. A successful applicant will have a proven ability to apply analytical skills to technical and business processes, recommending solutions. Moreover, you will demonstrate a strong team player orientation, both working and communicating effectively.

What you'll get in return
This organisation cares deeply about its employees, offering an incredible work-life balance along with other great benefits. It is important to note that this role is almost entirely remote, with your presence on-site in one of the 3 national offices only being required once a month, providing you with more flexibility. This comes with:
* Annual salary of £36,000
* Cycle to work scheme
* Career development and great progression opportunities
* Up to £10,000 interest-free loan for home-work spaces
* Discount and deals on shopping and travel
