Senior Estimator

Your new company
You will be joining a leading highways contractor based in the Midlands specialising in road and motorway street furniture. This organisation has a successful and leading track record in the highways sector, delivering some of the UK's most major infrastructure projects including motorway refuge areas, A-road improvement schemes, car parks and smart motorways. This multi-accredited contractor is continuously expanding and they are now looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team and work on multi-million pound exciting highways schemes.

Your new role
In your new role you will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for, but not limited to, leading a team of estimators for larger tenders, maintaining tender estimate files, providing pricing support, identifying risks and opportunities during the tender process, undertaking estimates as well as liaising with the Bid Manager and Planner to agree methodologies and principles.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience estimating in the highways sector and have a proven track record of working on multi-million-pound tenders. You will be confident dealing with customers and more senior staff, and be numerate and IT literate. In addition, you will be able to ensure that all tender submissions are profitable and viable. Finally, you will also be well-versed with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
