Site Agent/Manager

Your new company
You will be joining the utilities division of a world-leading Tier 1 infrastructure and engineering contractor working on a major water framework in the Midlands. This organisation is one of the UK's leading infrastructure specialists, specialising in the design, build and maintenance of utility infrastructure, and currently provide a wide range of clean and wastewater services alongside developer services. Working in partnership with high-profile clients such as United Utilities, Severn Trent Water and Scottish Power, they take a tailored and innovative approach to every project to ensure specific requirements are met as well as their clients' and customers' needs. With this contractor you will be working on high value (~£1million) infrastructure and non-infrastructure schemes.

Your new role
You will be reporting to the Project Manager and be responsible for, but not limited to, producing and managing the project programme, populating and managing cost plans for the project, delivering work safely and without environmental incidents, ensuring the commercial performance of the contract is maximised as well as producing procurement schedules and liaising with the procurement department.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have experience in Civil Engineering and have working knowledge of CDM regulations and NEC contract conditions. In addition, you will have experience with cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting. Furthermore, you will also have a CSCS managers card, SMSTS (or IOSH Managing Safely) and degree/HNC in Civil Engineering (or experience equivalent). Finally, you will be an excellent communicator with excellent people and team management skills.
