Structural Engineer

The variety of work they are engaged in is almost infinite, covering total and partial collapse, failure of components, inadequate ground conditions, acts of God, explosion, impact, inappropriate design, floored construction methodology and much more. As a structural engineer your role will engage your specialist technical skills, when needed you will have the support of internal and external experts providing additional civil and structural expertise, plus advice on any associated geotechnical, facade or materials issues.

Duties

• Site investigation
• Interview of witnesses
• Review of design information
• Structural analysis
• Preparation of reports identifying the root cause of failures

Your Profile

• A minimum of three years consulting engineering experience
• A degree qualified civil or structural engineer
• Experience in designing building or civil structures
• Inquisitive by nature
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
