Senior Structural Engineer

Our client is an independently owned, international civil and structural consultancy. Their London office has a workload focused on complex, high rise projects that are frequently the subject of industry and media interest.

The Role: This senior position for a structural engineer is to provide value engineering input to optimise design, construction sequences, improve buildability, delivery and to improve overall profitability whilst upholding safety and quality standards. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders and provide guidance and mentorship to graduate engineers and technicians.

They have a strong technical capability and a reputation for tackling large and complex projects in the building, transportation, water & environmental and industrial sectors.

Your Background; A chartered engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers( ICE) or the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), or similar body. An appreciation of how structural designs impact practical buildability issues is vital.  Your experience of building or industrial structures should include a background in design and analysis. Good interpersonal and client facing skills are essential, as is the ability to supervise and manage junior staff.
