You will be joining an established and reputable Civil Engineering contractor working on the exciting High Speed 2 (HS2) project. You will be a part of one of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure projects ever undertaken and work for an organisation who are currently leading the way in Civil Engineering and major infrastructure projects. Your new role
You will be reporting the Quantity Surveyor and be responsible for, but not limited to, monitoring subcontractor performance in consultation with more senior staff, ensuring prompt and regular submission of payment applications, participating in pricing variations and the settlement of main contract final accounts as well as assisting senior staff in monitoring final contract performance.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have a qualification (or experience equivalent) in Quantity Surveying (HNC, degree etc.) and have experience in NEC3/4 contracts. Working towards RICS (or equivalent) is desirable. In addition, you will hold a clean driving licence and be able to work within a delivery team with numerous drivers. Finally, you will have previous experience in heavy civils.
