Time to take off the 'training wheels'?

Based a short walk from public transport in southern Dublin, my client is offering an experienced Graduate Civil Engineer the opportunity to drop the 'Graduate' title.

My client has over 40 years' experience and has expanded successfully to have several offices across the country.

With a history of delivering award winning projects up to the value of €450m the successful Civil Engineer will work on some of the most exciting domestic and international infrastructure projects.

This role provides the opportunity for a Civil Engineer to develop their technical skills as you will be given exposure to a wide range of civil projects such a drainage, water and road networks, flood assessment and mitigation measures and traffic assessments.

You will be given the autonomy to work on smaller scale projects and continue to work under the guidance of a senior engineer on larger projects.

Your typical day will be spent producing high quality designs with the use of AutoCAD and Civils 3D, you will conduct site visits and assist in the construction of reports, and you will attend client meetings and provide technical advice.

CIVIL ENGINEER PROFILE

• 3 years post graduate experience in a similar role
• Committed to CPD
• A solid understanding of the engineering principals behind drainage, water, roads, and traffic system design
• Comfortable with industry standard software such as AutoCAD
• Familiar with DMURS
