Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Principal Highways Engineer to join our client's team of multi-disciplinary professionals.
As the Principal Highways Engineer, you will be responsible for leading design teams and delivering civil engineering design for a wide range of highway and transportation projects.
You will be responsible for the technical excellence and quality of the design, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards, and that all safety, health, and environmental regulations are adhered to. You will be working closely with other engineers, technicians, and other professionals to deliver innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.
Requirements:
- Membership in ICE or CIHT
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent,
- Extensive experience working key clients e.g. National Highways, Welsh Government.
- Experiencing leading a civil design team,
- Experiencing leading client interfaces,
- Able to advise clients on technical matters.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful design teams, and will have excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
