CDM Consultant / Principal Designer

Our client offers a wide range of services including Civil, Environmental, Building Services, Structural Engineering and Construction Health and Safety and enjoys an excellent reputation within these sectors. As a result of their continuing success, they are now looking to appoint an experienced CDM Consultant / Principal Designer to play a leading role with the team in their Leeds office on a full time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the team to plan, manage and monitor Health & Safety in the pre-construction phase and will assist the design team when designing out risks.

Responsibilities include:

• PD Duties as defined by the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015,
• CDM Advisor Role, including Construction Site Inspections,
• General Construction related audits and advice.

Requirements:

• A Member of the Association for Project Safety
• NEBOSH construction certificate
• You will be from Construction / Design background
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a CDM 2015 and Principal Designer role
• A good understanding of the design process
• A CSCS card would be advantageous as would NEBOSH Fire or similar.
