Assigned Certifier

Our client is a big hitter within the renewable energy sector and have a global reputation for delivering high-quality and sustainable projects.

At present, they are looking to add an Assigned Certifier to their Building Standards team in Dublin.

THE ROLE INVOLVES

You will coordinate with design and construction teams to develop a culture of compliance across all sectors whilst managing a broad and varied range of projects where typical duties will include:

• Fulfilling the role of Assigned Certifier under the BCAR process.
• Attending client and design team meetings to give professional advice regarding all building compliance work.
• Collaborating with design and construction teams, ancillary certifiers, and local authority Building Control.
• Reviewing designs and designer risk assessments with compliance and Health and Safety legislation in mind.
• Attending design coordination meetings.
• Coordinating residual hazards and risks.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED

• Professional Registration i.e. Chartered Engineer, Chartered Building Surveyor or Registered Architect with relevant experience and competency in relation to complex construction projects within the UK/ Ireland.
• A degree with relevant post qualification safety specific PSDP training along with certificate of attendance at Engineers Ireland / ACEI / RIAI / SCSI / CIF / IOSH approved PSDP CPD training
