Our client is a family owned electrical and civil engineering provider. They pride themselves on giving their customers the very best service and sustainability, their services are delivered by the very best engineers who use their expertise and experience to help keep UK businesses and the public safe and compliant, simple. As the leading Electric vehicle charge point installer and infrastructure provider, they cover the whole of the UK so there is a requirement to stay away from home on occasion, however, this role will mostly be based at their office in Livingston, where you will lead a team of Electricians and Groundworkers to successful completion of projects across the UK. You will supervise and drive the productivity of your team, ensuring that the project targets for our clients and customers are met.


Your new role

  • Receiving and understanding project briefs, ensuring these are allocated and timelines agreed
  • Look after the day to day operations of your project team and ensure common operational procedures are being followed, including RAMS and Programme of Works
  • Liaise with the Contract Managers and ensure they are kept up to date
  • Review all projects received, identifying any issues prior to the work commencing
  • Ensure compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures, this can include spot checks on project teams
  • Utilise our reporting software to accurately record electrical documentation
  • You will be expected to carry out electrical condition reporting providing details of any observations located
  • Always providing an exceptional level of customer service, while representing our brilliant company professionally



What you'll need to succeed

  • 18th edition
  • An NVQ qualification is ideal but not essential, as is part of your 18th edition
  • Practical experience within domestic and commercial environments
  • Experience installing electric vehicle charge points is ideal but not essential, training can be provided
  • A flexible approach to working, you should be able and willing to work overtime to cover workloads during busy periods
  • The ability to work towards strict deadlines, ideally experience working on timed projects
  • CSCS card or equivalent
  • A good level of IT and literacy skills
  • Full driving licence
