Senior Civil Engineer

Would you welcome the opportunity to join an established Civil & Structural engineering consultancy who currently have an influx of projects covering Retail, Industrial, Residential, Commercial, Educational sectors and more?

Our client is looking to find an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join them in their Norfolk office on a full-time permanent basis to work on a range of infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil Engineering,
• IEng or CEng status with a relevant Institution or be working towards,
• Significant experience of designing civil and structural engineering schemes,
• Excellent design skills and be able to competently undertake computer based analysis,
• A high level of competency using software packages such as AutoCAD, MicroDrainage and PDS,
• Knowledge and understanding of UK Codes of Practice, Design Standards, Building Regulations and Health and Safety,
• Experience in the use of civils 3Dis required,
• Experience of using Microdrainage and obtaining approvals for section agreements, including S104, S38 and S278,
• Excellent communication and prioritisation skills to ensure achievement of various deadlines.

The successful candidate will have good communication and organisational skills and will be able to work on their own initiative and will have the desire and ability to support and mentor more junior members of the team.
