BMS controls manager opening to join a prestigious university in Cambridge

Your new role
Responsible to manage the BMS team including day to day management of workload, carrying out team meetings and reactive and planned maintenance. You will be managing staff development performance and identifying appropriate training. Promote high standards of health and safety, improve the skill base of the team through training and development about complexity of building systems. You will be working closely with other team supervisors and other management teams to ensure that the mechanical team are performing well and achieving the objectives. Ensure BMS team is maintaining a technical understanding of the HVAC systems, plant and applications.

What you'll need to succeed
Building Management Systems and team management responsibility experience, NVQ, City & Guilds or ONC Electrical or HVAC qualification, IOSH Managing Safety or equivalent. Knowledge and skills in regulations and legislation needed to comply with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
