We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Construction and Dredging Manager to work with us on some leading-edge projects.

With approx. 4,800 commercial vessel movements per year, including the world’s largest ships in operation, and 10,000+ leisure vessels using the Haven waters, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate.

Your role will be to work with the Construction and Dredging Manager and our hydrographic survey team, using your knowledge and skills to research, plan, procure and manage existing and future projects. This role includes supervising maintenance dredging of the harbour and capital dredging improvements, as well as projects to create new coastal habitat and refurbish and replace Authority assets, including jetties, pontoons, sea walls and buildings. The ideal candidate will be confident in their abilities to manage and deliver technical solutions enabling them to undertake and complete projects successfully. Your key skills will include exceptional project management, basic business, legal and contractual awareness, risk management and mitigation strategies.
