We are looking for enthusiastic engineers who want to work on unique and exciting energy projects and keen to deliver installation engineering activities in the deep-water environment internationally and offshore.

Does working in >2000m water depth installing >500mT structure or >100km complex umbilical’s, with divers or ROV from an innovative support vessel sound interesting?

Global Projects division of Subsea7 work on high value and complex project internationally. We are looking for professional early career engineers with sound engineering experience, with a degree qualification in engineering (e.g. mechanical, civil/structural, naval architecture, Geotechnical or similar). Candidates would be working toward professional qualification with a recognised institution.

METHODS ENGINEER

Methods Engineering involves working alongside other engineering disciplines and support services to develop installation methodologies, installation aids, following execution of site/offshore work and close out activities.  As a Installation Methods Engineer you will be predominately office based (London or Paris) developing engineering activities and documentation, although the role will require travelling to suppliers, mobilisation sites and offshore to support construction activities.

CAPABILITY PROFILE – METHODS ENGINEER

• Enthusiastic to work in the offshore energy industry.

• Minimum bachelor, preferred masters, degree in relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Naval Architecture, Structural, Civil, Mechanical or similar).

• Proven Engineering work experience.  

• Experience working on-site, offshore or manufacturing is beneficial.

• Gained or working towards professional qualification (IEng/CEng) with internationally recognised institution.

• Able to work offshore or overseas for extended periods.
