Senior Civil Engineer

Our client is a global multidisciplinary engineering firm that is actively recruiting for a Civil Engineer to function in their central Belfast design office.

Throughout the UK and beyond, the firm offers a diverse range of intriguing and complex infrastructure projects.

Many successful project bids within the healthcare, biotech, defence, custodial, rail, industrial, and commercial sectors have led to the expansion of the Modern Belfast office.

The busy design firm is currently working on a major custodial facility, a local hospital, and a variety of other infrastructural projects.

Your typical duties will include producing Civil infrastructural designs, attending site visits, leading projects on occasion, and assisting junior staff.

All the above can be done from the comfort of your own home, 2/3 days per week.

Day-to-day breakdown

• Take a proactive approach with clients to ensure that the best solutions are provided.
• Demonstrate competence in civil engineer scheme analysis and design
• Develop, implement, and monitor scheduling and reporting programmes
• Attend site visits and project status meetings
• Provide advice, mentorship, and support to junior engineers

Profile

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Chartered or near chartered level
• Experience with various design packages, AutoCAD, Civils3d, WinDes, Microdrainage
• 3+ years' experience in a similar design consultancy
