Project Engineers – Bridges & Structures – Auckland

In the early stages of their next major project my client is looking for a number of Project Engineers with specific experience of civil structures. This is a leading contractor, well established throughout New Zealand, and this project is a highways based joint venture that sees my client bringing their specialist structures experience.

As a Project Engineer you will have a strong track record of delivering bridge and structures projects and be looking to push on from what you’ve already achieved. Other civil experience can be beneficial but the structures and concrete experience, particularly with long span bridges, is critical for this position. As well as technical know how your ability to utilise your team on site including trades, junior engineers and subcontractors is also critical. Support exists throughout the organisation but as a Project Engineer you will be encouraged to work independently with the direct support from the Project Manager.

Desirable attributes include,

• A degree or equivalent industry qualification
• Experience in structures projects of £30million or above
• Excellent man management, communication and IT skills
• A sense of humour and a desire to do a great job
