Job Details
Our client is a boutique consultancy based in Surrey near Guildford. They are well established in the area and enjoy repeat business, with a particular focus on sensitive repair and conservation of historic buildings.
They are looking for a senior structural engineer who has at least 5 years' UK experience and is either Chartered or working towards Chartership. If you have experience working on historic structures this would be a plus, but just as important is a real interest in this type of work.
Their projects also include prestigious housing and high-profile structures, and your ability to combine your understanding of construction with modern and traditional engineering techniques will be what wins this role for you. Schemes range in value from a single beam up to multi million pounds.
As this is a small firm, you will be an integral part of the team, helping more junior engineers and working closely with the associates and technical director.
Benefits include generous holiday, on site parking and hybrid upon completion of your probation period.
Software proficiency should include TEDDs, AutoCAD and potentially Tekla 3D Structures.
Sounds like the perfect role for you? Get in touch with Carol Watson at Conrad Consulting, and let's get you that interview!
