If you’re looking to get away from the mundane day-to-day routine and try something new, then New Zealand has the opportunities for you. New Zealand is a fantastic part of the world, I should know, I first came here on a working holiday and 20 years later I’m still here! Whether you like the big city or the great outdoors New Zealand has it all and more!
New Zealand is currently embarking on a massive amount of civil and infrastructure work and so if you’re a qualified engineer with experience working for a contractor in this sector, I need to hear from you right now!
I’m working with one of the leading civil contractors in New Zealand, specialising in major, heavy civil & infrastructure projects. Currently they have multiple projects around the country that due to get underway in the next few months ranging in value from $500 million to $1½ billion. The projects vary and include road construction, major structures, water, pipelines, marine and major earthworks. They already have plenty of their own people in place but with such a large amount of work on their plate, they need to recruit heavily to grow those teams even further.
A range of projects such as this requires varied skills and experience and the list below is just a small snippet of what’s required. It is not possible to list all the available jobs on one advert so I’d encourage anyone interested, with experience of working for a civil and infrastructure contractor, to get in touch and to start a conversation.
- Site Engineer
- Project Engineer
- Marine Engineer
- Piling Supervisor
- Piling Engineer
- Sub Agent
- Package Manager
- Project Manager
- Civil Quantity Surveyor
- Civil Foreman/Supervisor
