This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Highway Asset Management function within the Highways and Transport service area.

The position requires strong technical awareness alongside the management skills to lead the team delivering the Council’s highway services, maintenance, structures and capital scheme delivery in the City.

You’ll proactively lead the development of Highway Service Delivery, including the implementation of initiatives and projects.

You’ll need the ability, knowledge and expertise to balance conflicting issues and present practical solutions.

Delivering the Highway Asset Management Plan and the new Horizon Asset Management platform will give you the opportunity to focus the direction of services to provide high quality outcomes.

Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
