Senior Structural Engineer

Our client is an award winning firm of multi-disciplinary consulting engineers. They enjoy an excellent reputation within the industry which has resulted in continued growth and as a result of this success they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join the dynamic team in their London office.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept to completion,
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members,
• Conduct structural analysis and design using industry-standard software,
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and construction documents,
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions,
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations,
• Assist the Director in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office in their absence.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering,
• A Chartered or near-chartered status with a recognised engineering institution,
• Proven experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building structures,
• Proficiency in using structural engineering software,
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities,
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously,
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and design codes,
