Civil Engineer

My client is looking for a Civil Engineer that is keen to receive exposure to wider range of projects, some of which could be picked up and lead entirely by the successful candidate.

This Civil Engineer role is best suited to candidates with a few years UK based consultancy experience who wish to join a design team and progress to senior level, quickly.

There is lots of support to hand with this consultancy brimming with experienced staff split across their several UK wide design offices.

The office in Glasgow has a headcount of 10 split across Civil and Structural disciplines and this results in individuals receiving lots of hands on support and tailored training on the job.

CIVIL ENGINEER - DAY TO DAY ROLE

• Carrying out design work using Civils 3D.
• Actively contributing to company development.
• Attend site visits and progress meetings.
• Prepare civil engineering drawings for various projects such as housing, warehouses, distilleries, conservation and more.

REQUIREMENTS

• A Degree in civil engineering.
• A technically competent engineer with established skills and delivery capability.
• Confident using AutoCAD software packages.
• Microdrainage experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work with a wide range of personalities.

ON OFFER

• £33,000 - £38,000.
• 33 days annual leave.
• 5% pension.
• 35 hour week.
• Death in service (3x).
