Our client is tackling a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from £500k to £90m in construction value.

With expertise spanning residential, energy, and waste management sectors, they stand at the forefront of innovation and sustainability.

From conceptualising small-scale affordable housing solutions to orchestrating large-scale wind farms and infrastructure developments, the breadth of their projects is vast and impactful.

As a Technical Director, you'll lead the existing Civil Engineering team and drive the developments of new clients and contribute to the organic growth of the team - ensuring all staff have access to support and training.

You'll drive high-level analysis and intricate designs, ensuring each endeavour meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

In addition to technical design responsibilities, you'll serve as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance and fostering their professional growth.

Collaborating closely with a network of 12 other UK based design offices, you'll contribute to a culture of innovation, knowledge-sharing and excellence.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR PROFILE

You could be from an Associate position within a similar UK based consultancy or already be working as Technical Director.

You must have several of the following

• Chartered status.
• Technically proficient with excellent report writing skills.
• Experience of leading teams, mentoring staff and running projects.
• Highway design experience to UK standards such as DMRB.
• Drainage design experience (residential, SUDS, flood alleviation).
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
