This is a full-time hybrid role for a Structural Engineer based in York, with flexibility for some remote work. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for daily structural calculations and analysis, completing structural designs and reports, and collaborating with other team members. The Structural Engineer will need to ensure design standards are met and communicate effectively with clients and contractors. You will be responsible for running your own projects and will be able to operate with little supervision.

Along with structural engineering duties you will be expected to provide:
· Civil Engineering design in roads and drainage
· Planning Applications
· Project Management and Contract Administration
· Site Surveying
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Calculations and Structural Analysis
- Experience in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD - Essential
- Proficiency in REVIT would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Experience in the construction industry
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (a Master's degree is a plus)
- Chartered or Near Chartered preferable.
- Driving License is required.
- Candidates must be currently working in a Design Consultancy or on site in an Engineering capacity and have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience.
