Structural Engineer

Job Title: Principal Structural Engineer (12-month contract)

Location: Remote

Rate: £50-£60 per hour

Our client is an established engineering firm with over 1000 employees UK-wide.

Recently, they have detailed an ambitious 5-year plan that will see them expand their operations and develop their brand into becoming the go-to for all things clean energy, defence and nuclear.

To deliver this successfully, they are seeking the appointment of several experienced engineers on an initial 12-month contract.

You will join the area of the business that is responsible for delivering Defence projects and therefore you must be a UK national that is eligible for security clearance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and contribute to the successful execution of projects in the Defence sectors.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.
• Drive excellence in project delivery and contribute to the achievement of company objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

• Eligibility for security clearance is a prerequisite.
• Must hold a UK passport.
• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Ideally Chartered.
• Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of engineering principles.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Enthusiasm for working in the Clean Energy, Nuclear, and Defence sectors.
