Principal Engineer
Croydon
Up to £90k DOE + benefits.
Do you have a passion for engineering and enjoy running the technical aspect of projects?
We have a great opportunity for a talented engineer at Principal level to head projects and lead the team on heavy civil structures scheme. Their clients include leading power, water, telecoms and rail companies - so you will work on some high profile and iconic schemes.
They are seeking an engineer who has experience designing for heavy civil structures schemes and substations. You will join a fast-paced environment where the team works closely and you will represent our client at meetings both internally and externally.
About you:
- Degree in civil or structural engineering
- At least 8 years' experience at senior level leading projects and teams
- Chartered or near Chartered
- Strong communicator and team leader
- Excellent report writing skills
- Confident in your technical ability which you are able to impart to the team
- Mentor and train junior engineers
