We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced principal civil engineer to set up the civils team for our client, a national award-winning consultancy who have an enviable reputation and network of offices.

If you have been waiting for a role you can make your own, this is it - you will be the first in the team and will be given the opportunity to resource and grow the team. Business development will be a core responsibility, whilst maintaining existing relationships and liaising with internal teams.

Essential skills & experience:

• Consultancy experience on major drainage projects
• Knowledge and experience of industry standard software including AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, FLOW, PDS and Civils 3D
• Sound judgement and management
• Able to provide practical, efficient and innovative solutions to engineering problems
• Experience overseeing projects to successful delivery, managing resource and budget constraints

If you have extensive hands-on experience and want to make a move to management, whilst developing your own workload, this is the role for you. Your previous experience will be in the day-to-day management of civil engineering projects, focusing on infrastructure, sewerage and highway design.
