Structural Design Engineer
Luton
£40k-£45k plus benefits
Working on foundation design across London, the Home Counties and South Coast, this established firm provides safe, innovative and value-engineered solutions for new build foundations. First class customer service is a priority, along with maintaining high quality in the design of projects.
Their Luton team is seeking a structural design engineer to work closely with the Design Managers and Senior Engineers to gather information and requirements for structural design. Your experience should include calculating and checking building weights and ensuring bar bending schedules are checked in accordance with drawings.
This is not a run-of-the-mill role, your work will be varied, and you will need to be proficient in AutoCAD with practical knowledge of the foundation industry and at least 2 years' design experience, to include RC detailing.
They need an enthusiastic and self-motivated engineer to is able to build relationships and who can learn quickly. Confident communicator with strong organisational skills, you will be a team player who is able to multi-task.
