Intermediate Quantity Surveyor – Christchurch

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction contractor based in Christchurch. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full cost management process for a variety of commercial construction projects.
• Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
• Conduct site visits and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Work closely with project managers to resolve any cost-related issues.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a main contractor.
• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (BSc or similar).
• Strong understanding of commercial construction contracts.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with local Christchurch-based projects is a plus.
