About the Role

We are looking for a Civil / Structural design engineer to join our growing team in Ashford where we have recently moved to a brand-new office, here in the heart of Kent. The role offers the exceptional opportunity to be involved in every stage of a project working alongside talented colleagues.

What you’ll do

We are looking for candidates who possess the flexibility and desire to work on a diverse range of projects in the rail, power, marine and highways sectors. You will have direct experience not only in the preparation of calculations, but also in the development of design drawings and specifications, as well as pride in seeing the results of your work take shape successfully on site.

You will be responsible for delivering detailed design projects to steelwork and concrete Eurocodes, all within the framework of UK technical assurance processes.

Who we’re looking for

You will be a confident and experienced design engineer with an eye for detail  With a positive outlook, you will be a role model and mentor to junior colleagues in the team. 

You will be degree-qualified with an MEng Civil or Structural engineering degree, BSc or BEng Hons Degree in Civil or Structural engineering.

You will be either approaching or recently chartered and able to demonstrate your commitment to continuing professional development.  In return, you will receive excellent mentoring and training to support you on the next stage of your career.
