Job Details

Your highways or roads and drainage infrastructure experience can open the door to this new career on the client side of the industry. It offers training and progression, plus  the management experience to  advance your career and professional profile        

You will work within our clients’ in-house engineering and management division, alongside project managers, surveyors and chartered civil engineers. As a key member of the  team responsible for new and maintenance projects your role will include preparing specifications for new works and maintenance, and overseeing the inspection of assets that include roads, bridges, drainage, buildings and specialist logistics facilities.

Progression: This is a key role within the organisation and a path into senior management. You will be encouraged to become an incorporated or chartered engineer, training and mentorship is available. There is regular in-house training, assistance to acquire additional vocational qualifications, and the opportunity to attend industry specific courses. The on-going growth of the company means the development and progression of staff is vital.

Profile Required:

  • A degree qualified civil or structural engineer
  • Graduate or corporate membership of the ICE, CIHT, IHE or equivalent
  • Design management experience Highways, bridges or development Infrastructure experience
  • Six years plus industry experience
  • Good communication and supervisory skills
  • Commitment to learning and career progression
