This busy and expanding practice based in Sheffield needs you! Are you a senior engineer who has extensive experience designing and preparing details drawing for surface water and sewer networks? This could be perfect for you.

Our client is seeking a senior civil engineer who will be involved in a diverse array of projects, spanning both residential and commercial sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and preparing detailed drawings for surface water and sewer networks, along with external ground levels.
• Developing highway designs, including vertical and horizontal geometry, with experience in S278, S38, S104, and SuDS design.
• Utilizing specialist software for infrastructure and drainage design, such as AutoCAD, PDS, Microdrainage, Causeway Flow, and Site 3D.
• Producing technical schedules to support project requirements.
• Representing the company in client meetings and collaborating with other professionals and suppliers as needed.
• Managing projects within agreed timelines and budgets, while ensuring service and design decisions are met.
• Communicating effectively with Directors and the team to align project goals with the objectives of both the client and the company.
• Coordinating with team members and keeping relevant staff informed of client matters.
• Mentoring and guiding Graduate Engineers where necessary, fostering their professional development.

Degree in civil/structural engineering is required and, if not already, you should be keen to gain Chartership with ICE.
